Turkey tail is a thin, banded bracket fungus commonly identified as Trametes versicolor. It belongs in an educational species library, not automatically in Liona’s launch collection.
Why the format matters
Its tough form differs from fresh culinary mushrooms used for a skillet meal. Retail products may be dried ingredients or processed extracts with different preparation directions. A photograph or a familiar common name is not enough to establish what is in a powder.

Banded woodland fungi can resemble one another. This overview is not a field-identification key and does not establish that a wild specimen is edible. Use identified material from a reputable source rather than treating a visual resemblance as approval to brew it.
